Gasha Ecoplastics is an environmental and circular-economy initiative focused on transforming local plastic pollution and agricultural waste into useful, high-performance construction materials and interior design artifacts. We recover what communities discard and give it a second, better life.
The name Gasha originates from the Russian language and means good / hope. This translates Gasha Ecoplastics to “the good ecoplastics.”
Nagasha Praise is a 2026 Mechanical Engineering graduate of Makerere University, Uganda, originally from Western Uganda. She is passionate about the environment and the well-being of people and ecosystems, and her work has grown into sustainability research. She is also the Executive Director of Ngotu Solutions.
Ayebare is a Bachelor of Information Technology student at Cavendish University Uganda and the founder of Ecohabit. He leads technology and social media for Gasha Ecoplastics, keeping the organisation online and connected.
